We currently have over 50 professionals who have successfully completed their APC assessments and have registered/eligible to register as Chartered Accountants. The purpose of the alumni community is to encourage, educate and empower newly qualified CAs(SA) to be intentional about building purposeful and sustainable careers through career planning, hard work and professional networking.

After 2 years of launching the mentoring initiative, the question I’m asked often is what’s next post qualifying? The answer I always give is “do what you need to do until you find your passion, because your passion will lead you to your purpose. Once you find your purpose, then you have aligned to what you are called to do on earth”.

Post spreading the word about finding your passion, your purpose and being in alignment with your calling I saw a need to empower our Alumni with career mentorship to intentionally build and invest time “working hard” in the early years of their careers so that they can reap the rewards of hard work in the later years of their careers.

Being an entrepreneur, an audit partner, a CFO, a CEO, a board member doesn’t happen overnight, it takes years of hard work, intentional career planning and continuous learning and development personally and professionally. As a result,we are super excited to have an alumni community which will be focused on building and nurturing sustainable, and purpose led career pathways that bring personal and professional fulfilment.
